Tubman Production To Take Place At Galilee

The
Most iconic and well-known figure of the Underground Railroad is
Harriet Tubman whose life spanned nine decades and still influences the
consciousness of people around the world. The Galilee United Methodist
Church family invites you and your family to the award-winning and
critically acclaimed production of “Harriet’s Return based on the
legendary life of Harriet Tubman.” This stirring production is written
by and stars Karen Jones Meadows. Two performances will be given at
Galilee UM Church, 325 Genesee Avenue, Englewood, NJ on Friday and
Saturday, October 21st and 22nd at 7:30 pm. Donation is $20. “Harriet’s
Return” chronicles the private and public life of famed Underground
Railroad conductor, And revolutionary, Harriet Tubman.
Journey from Harriet’s childhood to her final days as she weaves her
story. Ms. Karen Jones Meadows portrays more than thirty colorful
characters who take the audience from contemporary America into the
depths of Ms. Tubman’s soul, the psyche of a nation, and a call to
action. Harriet’s Return is an official member of the National
Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Program. For tickets and more
