The 2006 Festival features a range of international companies, including Dutch National Ballet; Honvèd Dance Company from Hungary; and Ballet Boyz and Random Dance from London. Appearing for the first time in New York will be Yi-Jo Lim Sun Dance Company from Korea; Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie from Mon-treal; flamenco dancer FARRUCO from Spain; and from France, making their U.S. debuts, Compagnie La BARAKA/Abou LAGRAA; contemporary hip-hop group Compagnie Franck II Louise; and Odile Duboc-CCN de Franche-Comtè á Belfort.
Acclaimed American companies include Pennsylvania Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet from Seattle, Robert Moses' Kin and Alonzo King's Lines Ballet from San Francisco, and Nikolais Dance Theatre Performed by Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company from Utah.
New York-based artists and companies include Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Stephen Petronio Company, nathan-trice/RITUALS, The Martha Graham Dance Company, New York City Ballet, The Parsons Dance Company, Maureen Fleming Company, Christopher Williams, Bridg-man/Packer Dance, STREB Extreme Action, ASzURe & Artists, and Jason Samuels Smith's A.C.G.I. The Festival also features two of New York City Center's resident companies: Paul Taylor Dance Company and American Ballet Theatre.
