Teaching People How to Work for Themselves Frances Thompson

Frances Thompson is steadfast in her goal to teach African American Christians to be entrepreneurs in their own right. With many years of experience in local, federal and state levels of politics and business practices, Frances is outspoken and believes she can make a change in the world around her.

A second generation in Jersey City, Frances believes she could offer a different perspective on history and the people in the city. A graduate of PS-14 and Snyder High School, she received her masters degree at Rutgers University. She was the first African American female elected to serve on the city council during the coalition of African Americans to replace the late Glenn D. Cunningham when he became council president.>
